Marina Puerto Los Cabos

We are currently in San Jose Del Cabo Marina in lower Baja, Mexico. I'm not a fan of marinas really, but this one is special. The owners, whoever they are, have a special gift for aesthetics and the arts, it seems. We have been coming here for a few years, and I always meant to photograph the wildly weird but intriguing and slightly macabre artworks they obviously spent a fortune to acquire. I finally did today. There was no need for the marina owners to go to such lengths to create such a beautiful space, there is no other marina like it in the world..... at least not that I have seen. Have a look at these photos of the sculptures and canvas prints of Leonora Carrington, all created decades ago, I believe. I'm just blown away by this inspired (or more likely tortured) soul.
