This is a pretty clever way to fuel up the boat when there is no fuel dock. The hose from the fuel truck wasn't long enough, so.....

Solitude is the name of the song, and that's what we have. No people, towns, boats..... nothing for 100's of miles. This is our snug little cove / home for 3 days now. It's blowing a gale, as it does almost perpetually here. We might cast off lines tomorrow, and move on. Cape horn is just 150 miles away!
